The Cast of Molly’s Poly

  • Dani Heslin (Molly)

Dani Heslin (she/her) never thought she'd get to play a character who shares her love of making miniatures... Yes, you should ask Dani about her tiny tea shop. A graduate of Shenandoah University and a fresh NY resident, Dani is so psyched to work with this amazing team. And lucky her! She gets to explore such a wonderfully clever and detailed woman.

  • Will Sanders (Ted)

Will Sanders is an actor and musician. He is known for “A Wish in Harlem” (Netflix, 2024), and “Persona,” (Manor House Productions, 2022). After running a theatrical clown training program in Houston, he attended the Circle in the Square Theatre School (acting, singing), and the Jalopy School of Music (guitar, banjo). He directed his first short, “There’s Nothing Wrong with You” in 2022, funded in part by the Creatives Rebuild New York grant, of which he is a recipient. He started his art career with the Houston Burning Man Organization, focusing on immersive theater. He spends his time cooking, reading, and honing his craft.

  • Pixie Esmonde (Polly)

Pixie Esmonde is head over heels to be playing Polly in this new comedy. A woman after her own heart: sassy, sexy, smart ,and a well dressed hurricane." Three way or Four way as long as it’s my way" is her motto. Pixie has been working in short films recently,”Orson”,”Forward” & “Black Star”. A veteran of Stand Up in New York City and 35 years on Broadway as a Wardrobe Supervisor& Dresser. 4 Years with the Band KISS. Deep Thanks to Rob Bartlett, Gary Ramsey, Robert Nolan, Lucas Van Engen, The Gratigals, My Big Brother Joe and Nate Raven & Jay Cruz.

  • Sean Logan (Piotr)

Sean Logan is pretty quiet, reserved, and maybe even a bit shy. This seems quite the opposite of the sexually open, power broker, and outspoken character of Peter, which he will play. Sean studied acting at the University of Minnesota (BA), Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School for the Arts (MFA), and the National Theater Conservatory of Denver. Many Theater credits include Award winning playwright Julia Cho’s 99 Histories, and he has also played alongside McKnight Foundation Winner Lou Bellamy in the Penumbra Theater’s Black Eagles. Film credit highlights include a supporting role in The Limbo Room, an award winner at Slamdance, and a starring role in the music video for Daughtry’s “It’s Not Over”.

  • Jazz Sunpanich (Bren)

Jazz is super JAZZED to be a part of Molly’s Polly by Nate Raven at New York Theatre Festival!!! Originally from Thailand, now she resides in NYC for her Broadway dream. Jazz is like a real life version of Bren because she’s a baker!! Not only that, she has the same determination and will to fight for anything she wants (even though it’s very scary). Most recently she was seen as the Sneezy Princess in a new musical reading of Two Princes at 54 Below. Credits (selected): Love and Baseball (Lead), She has a Name (Lead), Midsummer v.2020 (Hermia), Infernal the Musical, Cabaret (Frenchie), Reefer Madness (Miss Poppy). Jazz would like to thank Ben Newsum for his love, understanding and endlessly support.

  • Krik Koczanowski (Josiah)

Kirk Koczanowski is an NYC Based Actor, Singer, and Fork-Lift Certified Dump-Truck Owner. He is so excited to share his “jelly” with you on this hilarious & sexy romp in “Molly’s Poly.” Similarly to Josiah, Kirk is a huge fan of hosting parties and making sure everyone is fed or their thirst is sufficiently quenched *wink*. When he’s not acting or bringing the excitement of free love to life on-stage you can find Kirk co-hosting the Self-help Comedy podcast “Men of Doozy” or performing live movement in the city with the band “Pair of Sloths”

Caleb is so thrilled to be working along side new friends in this production of Molly’s Poly.
